New SCV Sheriff Station on the Way!

On October 18, 2021, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the location of the new SCV Sheriff Station on Golden Valley Road in Canyon Country. The new station isn't open yet but will be within a month. The station is being equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a new Type I jail. Recently, a suspected rapist was arrested in Canyon Country. The suspect, I. Phillips, was arrested in connection with an alleged rape that occurred in March of this year. It's alleged that he used an intoxicant on his victim. He is currently being held at the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station in lieu of $300,000 bail.
