Deputies working out of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station handle Green Valley, and when someone is arrested there, they are taken to the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station to undergo booking and processing. The procedure includes taking an arrestee’s photograph, recording their fingerprints and conducting a national background check. Once complete, bail will be set and it will be possible to obtain their release via bail bond.

If an inmate’s release is not secured within 72-hours, or if the on-site jail becomes overcrowded, inmates will be transferred to larger jails in downtown Los Angeles. Men are sent to Twin Towers Correctional Facility and women are sent to the Lynwood Jail, also known as CRDF. When transferred, inmates will need to go through another round of processing that can take up to 24-hours to complete. During this period, it will take much time to bail them out of jail. As such, it’s usually best to begin the bail bond process when they’re still located at the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station jail.

Why Bail Someone Out?

When someone is in police custody, there is little they can do in terms of interacting with the outside world. This usually results in lost jobs, failed classes, missed bill payments and anything else you can think of.

When you bail someone out of jail, it allows them the opportunity to continue attending to the obligations of their daily life, as well as look for legal counsel.

The Bail Bond Process

First, give us a call and provide us with the name, birth date and date and time of arrest of the person you want to bail out of jail. We will use this info to locate them within the system and verify their eligibility for bail. Next, we have you fill out the short, simple bail bond application forms and sign the indemnitor’s agreement. Last, we head to the jail to post the bond and your friend or loved one will be released as soon as possible.
