In the early morning hours of Monday, June 15th, deputies on patrol came upon a man near the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and Sand Canyon Road. After speaking to him, the deputies learned that he was on probation from a recent burglary charge. Man Detained for Allegedly Stealing A Purse
On the afternoon of Monday, April 27th, deputies from the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station responded to Central Park after receiving a tip that a purse snatching suspect may be located there. It all began earlier in the day in the parking lot of the Albertson's grocery store on Bouquet Canyon Road. Investigators Looking for Potential Hit-and-Run Suspect
Surveillance camera footage in the parking lot of the Saugus Cafe may have caught a crime. The footage obtained shows that on March 1st, a vehicle in the parking lot appears to have struck another parked vehicle (which was empty). The driver of the moving vehicle then exits to survey the damage, gets back in, and drives away. The footage doesn't show the driver leaving any identifying information and none was found at the scene.
