An alleged tagger with a prolific history of vandalism was arrested in the SCV after a year-long investigation that included members of the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station COBRA detectives and people who remove graffiti. The suspect is believed to have committed over 1900 acts of vandalism between January 2018 and December 2018.

Santa Clarita Sheriff Station Vandalized
Thursday, April 26, saw the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station vandalized by an unknown suspect. Deputies reviewing camera footage said that the suspect had ridden up on a foot-powered scooter and spray painted cryptic messages on the front of the station. Investigators were having difficulty deciphering the message, though it appeared to make a reference to a DEA agent named Enrique Camarena who was killed in 1985.

Mountainview Elementary School in Saugus was vandalized last week by unknown suspects. The break-in appears to have occurred overnight, during which the suspects destroyed the school's computer lab, toppled bookcases in the library, smashed televisions and ripped screens from various classroom windows.
