Recently, investigators were able to apprehend some suspects in a June 15th burglary in Canyon Country. The post on the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station Facebook states: "COBRA detectives nab burglary suspects linked to Canyon Country theft. According to a post on the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station's Facebook page, deputies recently rescued three dogs from a hot van in Stevenson Ranch. The post reads: "Citizen called to report dogs left in a hot car this afternoon. Deputies responded to the location, a parking area near townhomes in Stevenson Ranch. Stevenson Ranch Man Arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine
Recently, deputies in Santa Clarita conducted a welfare check on a man who had been in the bathroom of a Newhall gas station for over an hour. Upon making contact with the man, deputies discovered he was in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, and had a $75,000 warrant for his arrest citing (presumably) other narcotics charges.
