'Tis the Season for Mail Theft in Santa Clarita and recently, deputies with the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station pulled over the driver of a stolen vehicle in Canyon Country to find that, among other illegal things, the vehicle contained several trash bags full of stolen mail, ID cards, mailbox locks, and mailbox keys. Newhall Arson Suspect Arrested

Two separate fires were set in Newhall over the weekend, and Santa Clarita Sheriff Station deputies have announced that a suspect is in custody. Both fires occurred in the evening, with reports of the first fire coming in at 10:14.
