According to a post on the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station's Facebook page, deputies recently rescued three dogs from a hot van in Stevenson Ranch. The post reads:

Stevenson Ranch Man Arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine
Recently, deputies in Santa Clarita conducted a welfare check on a man who had been in the bathroom of a Newhall gas station for over an hour. Upon making contact with the man, deputies discovered he was in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, and had a $75,000 warrant for his arrest citing (presumably) other narcotics charges.

Alleged Hot Prowl Burglar Arrested in Tesoro Del Valle
On Thursday, June 13th, a suspected burglar was seen entering an apartment at the West Hills Apartment Complex through the window. Deputies were called who set up containment in the area shortly after they arrived.
