Newhall Storefronts Vandalized

Saturday, May 30th saw several Newhall storefronts vandalized by an as-yet-unidentified suspect. According to security camera footage, the suspect scratched up the storefronts of at least nine businesses on Main St. The suspect walked down the street and used a sharp object to mark up the glass as he moved from storefront to storefront. Suicidal Santa Clarita Man Taken for Observation

On Wednesday May 19, Santa Clarita Sheriff Station deputies received a call about an unstable man in Canyon Country who was firing gunshots into the air. The report came from a family member who claimed that the man had been threatening suicide and firing shots into the air with his pistol.
