Santa Clarita Man Pleads No Contest to Charges
Recently, a Canyon Country man was arrested and charged with making annoying phone calls for the second time. The man, A. Soto, was previously arrested in September for the same alleged crime. He was scheduled to appear in court to face charges this week. When asked to enter a plea, Soto pleaded "no contest" to the misdemeanor charge of making annoying phone calls. SCV Sheriff Station Report – Pets Rescued from Hot Vehicle in Stevenson Ranch

According to a post on the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station's Facebook page, deputies recently rescued three dogs from a hot van in Stevenson Ranch. The post reads: "Citizen called to report dogs left in a hot car this afternoon. Deputies responded to the location, a parking area near townhomes in Stevenson Ranch.
