Recently, investigators were able to apprehend some suspects in a June 15th burglary in Canyon Country. The post on the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station Facebook states:
“COBRA detectives nab burglary suspects linked to Canyon Country theft. On July 15, 2019, a burglary occurred on the 29800 block of Wisteria Valley Road. Eyewitnesses reported seeing 3 male suspect(s) taking items from a vacant house and putting them into a vehicle. The vehicle took off before deputies arrived, however while canvassing the neighborhood, deputies did locate one of the subjects that night- a local teen.
Over the last week, detectives have fervently worked to identify and locate the other two suspects involved in the burglary. Through their investigation, a possible address in Palmdale was identified. A search warrant was obtained and executed on Tuesday, July 23. At the Palmdale location, detectives found evidence connected to the Canyon Country burglary, and they also located the other two outstanding suspects – a male teen and a male adult. A total of three individuals have now been detained and/or arrested on burglary charges in connection with this incident.”
However, another three suspects connected to a different incident on June 13th are still being sought.
“During the early morning hours of Saturday, July 13, 2019, three male suspects burglarized a business on the 22500 block of Soledad Canyon Road, Saugus. Two of the suspects are believed to be Hispanic, and the third suspect, Caucasian. The suspects left the scene in a mid to late 1990’s Dodge Ram truck, extended cab. The truck had heavy paint damage or oxidation on the hood and roof of the cab.
