October is domestic violence awareness month, and purple is the color associated with domestic violence, so it seems fitting that the Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarita would hold their 4th Annual Purple Walk of Strength this month. Over 200 purple-clad people showed up to walk or run a 5k course at College of the Canyons to raise money for the center and raise awareness about domestic violence.
