The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station is staffed by over 200 sworn deputies and civilian personnel. When someone is arrested on or around Newhall Ranch, they will be taken to the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station to undergo booking and processing. This procedure can take anywhere between 45-minutes and several hours depending on how busy the station is. Regardless, only after booking and processing has been completed will it be possible to obtain someone’s release via bail bond.

The on-site jail isn’t very large, nor is it intended to serve as long-term housing for inmates. As a result, if the jail begins to get crowded, or if an inmate remains there for longer than 72-hours, it is highly likely that he or she will be transferred to one of the larger jails in downtown Los Angeles. Men are transferred to Twin Towers and women to the Lynwood Jail. Upon transfer, it will be impossible to bail them out for at least 12 to 24-hours as they go through another round of processing at their new location. For the best chances at avoiding transfer, it is advisable to begin the bail bond process when an inmate is still located at the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station jail whenever possible.

Why Use a Bail Bondsman?

To bail someone out of jail, it isn’t mandatory that you work with a bail bondsman. Once bail has been set, it’s possible to pay the full amount of bail to the court clerk, during court business hours, and secure the release of your friend or loved one that way. Additionally, if cash isn’t on hand, it can be possible to instead put up a piece of property. Unfortunately, putting up property in lieu of bail money comes with a significant amount of red tape and can take weeks, or even months, to finally go through.

The reason people work with us because we can quickly and easily get someone out of jail any time of day or night. Most jails will allow a bail bondsman to post a bond 24-hours a day, whereas working with the court, it can only be done during business hours. Additionally, our experience can be invaluable. We’ve done this a lot, and we know our way around the court and jail system. Our years of experience helps us expedite the bail bond process and get your friend or loved one out of jail as fast as humanly possible.
