Santa Clarita Sheriff Station and Jail Information
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station
26201 Golden Valley Road
Santa Clarita, CA 91350
Station/Jail: (661) 260-4000
LASD Inmate Locator
Acton is policed by deputies working out of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station and it is there that arrestees will be brought immediately after their arrest. Once they arrive at the station, they will undergo booking and processing – a procedure that can take anywhere from 45-minutes to several hours, depending on how busy the station is.
Booking and Processing
After booking and processing is complete, bail will be set and it will be possible to obtain an inmate’s release via bail bond. The on-site jail at the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station is small, and isn’t designed to hold more than 40 inmates at a time. So, when the jail gets overcrowded or an inmate has been housed at the jail for 72-hours, it is likely that male inmates will be transferred to Twin Towers Correctional Facility and females will be sent to the Lynwood Jail. These two jails are a good deal larger and busier than the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station jail, and once the inmates arrive, it will be impossible to bail them out until they have been processed in (which can take anywhere from 12 to 24-hours).
To minimize the amount of time an inmate spends in custody, it is usually best to get the bail bond process started as quickly as possible. If it has begun while the inmate is still located at the Santa Clarita Sheriff Station, it is possible to avoid the transfer process altogether.
Fast, Dependable Bail Bondsmen
We know that finding out a friend or loved one has been arrested can be incredibly stressful, and we’re here to help you every step of the way; making the bail bond process as fast and painless as it can be.
It all starts by giving us a call and providing us with some general information about the inmate so that we can locate him or her within the jail system and verify their eligibility for bail. Their full name, date of birth and the date and time of arrest will be helpful in this case.
Once that’s done, we have you fill out the bail bond application forms and sign the indemnitor’s agreement. All of our forms are short, simple and to the point, but we’re more than happy to go over them with you if you’d like.
Finally, once the forms have been filled out and signed, we provide you with a receipt and dispatch one of our agents to the jail. Your friend or loved one will be released a short time later.
Bail by Fax or Email
If you’re not able to meet with us in person, we’re capable of handling the entire bail bond process from start to finish via phone, fax or email. Our goal is to make this process as stress-free and fast as possible, and if communicating electronically works best for you, then it works best for us, too.
