This Labor Day in Los Angeles 2016 is going to be a hot one, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying the festivities. Six Flags Magic Mountain, for example, is holding a sale from Sept. 1 to Sept. 7 during which season passes to their park for the year of 2017 will be 70% off. That means you can get unlimited trips to the park for all of next year for about $75 – not bad, right?
Aside from that, there will be a number of events held in Los Angeles County that will be fun for the whole family.
- The LA County Fair, at the Fairplex is definitely worth checking out. Tickets are between $14 and $18 for adults and run from $8 to $12 for kids. There will be rides, games, tons of fried food (and hopefully plenty of bathrooms).
- From Saturday through Monday, the Fiesta Hermosa art festival will be going on in downtown Hermosa Beach. It’s free to get in, and the festival opens daily at 10 am.
- If you want to do something inside to beat the heat, why not get dose of culture at the Cinecon Classic Film Festival? Saturday through Monday, people will be treated to back-t0-back films from Hollywood’s history. Tickets can be price, with single-day prices running between $30 and $40, and 3-day packages running between $150 and $160.
Remember that during holiday weekends, LASD and LAPD officers will be on the lookout for anyone exhibiting signs of impaired driving. If you choose to consume alcohol this holiday weekend, make sure you have a designated driver or some other alternative. Saturation patrols and DUI checkpoints will be held throughout the city and the police have a zero-tolerance policy regarding drunk driving. Spend this weekend with your friends and family, not in jail.
From all of us at Santa Clarita Bail Bonds to you, have a safe and happy Labor Day weekend!
